Spinning Topper

I'll be modeling a simple spinning top in Blender. Open up your blender and click on the outside of the splash screen. Select the square by clicking on it. Press X on the keyboard and then click on delete. Then you'll want to go to create in the top left corner. You'll want to select the cone in the primitive window.

Then go down to the object mode and click on it. Select the edit mode. We'll find vertices, edges, and faces in the edit mode. I kept pressing the number 2 key until I got to the part of the cone I wanted.

In the middle of the screen select faces in the edit mode. Go to the object and select the top round face.

Press S key and scale out to the size you want. Then press E to extrude the face up a little.

Press E again to extrude.

Press S to scale in.

Don't forget to save your project. I forget to save mine and I had to start over. Anyway, extrude again and scale it in.

Walla, you are done with a simple spinning topper. Click on edit mode and go to object mode. Press Ctrl S to save your project.

Thank you for checking out my post and have a fabulous week.
